A Two Together Railcard is a discount card that allows you to save up to 1/3 off the price of eligible train tickets, making it a great way to secure cheap fares. There is no restriction on the number of times the Railcard can be used to purchase discounted tickets during the period of its validity, and there are no geographical restrictions on its use.

Eligibility
- To buy a Two Together Railcard you’ll need to be aged 16 years or over.
How to buy Two Together Railcard?
Required:
- A valid debit or credit card
- A passport-style photo (it can even be taken with your phone)
- If buying for someone else – the Railcard holder’s details, including their email address
Procedure:

2. Click “Buy now”
3. Choose the type of Railcard you would like (Plastic or Digital)
4. Enter Who is the Railcard being purchased for
5. Accept the terms and conditions
6. Click “Continue”
7. Enter the RailCard holder Details
8. Register your Address and billing details
9. Make a Payment
How to Renew Your Two Together Railcard?
- Visit the My Account
- Enter your User name and Password
- If your Railcard is expiring in the next 30 Days, or has already expired you will see a button to “Renew”
- Select the duration and type of card you would like to renew
- Choose type of card you’d like to renew
- You will be directed straight to the billing screen to complete your order
- Once you complete your purchase Click “Active”
How to use a digital Railcard?
- When searching for tickets on Trainline website or in Trainline app, tap ‘add a Railcard’
- Scroll down to select the type of Railcard you’ve bought from the list
- They automatically apply your Railcard savings and show you the discounted price
- Book your train tickets as a digital ticket, or to be collected at the station
- Bring the device your digital Railcard and train tickets are stored on to show to a ticket inspector if asked
FAQ
Can you travel with your Two Together Railcard at any time of the day?
You can travel on Two Together Railcard discounted tickets from 09:30am Monday to Friday and at any time on weekends and public holidays. It cannot be used between 04:30am and 09:29am Monday to Fridays (excluding public holidays).
Can you renew your Railcard at a station?
Yes, if you do not wish to renew online, you can also renew at a staffed station ticket office.
Can you change from a plastic to digital Railcard when you renew?
Yes, as part of the renewal process you will be able to select whether you would like your new Railcard to be plastic or digital, and also whether you would like to renew for 1 year or 3 years (where applicable).
Note: Plastic Railcards will take up to 5 working days to arrive by post, so if your Railcard is close to expiring and you would like to travel soon it would be safer to renew as a digital Railcard.

A digital Railcard is non-refundable once you’ve purchased
